Acrostic Series: #1 Portal

I’m starting a new poetry series: acrostics. I’ve done a few cringey ones in the past, but hopefully these are better. Please let me know what you think! Can you find the word?

For those who don’t know what an acrostic is:

Satiate our hunger, our black-hole needs,

Minds of caves, seeking something or

Anything at all.

Reality is a harsh grey; we yearn for a chauffeur that will

Take us to other worlds more impressive. So we give ourselves to the

Portals in our hands, embroiled in a

Hell-bent worship of the unknown, the new, the next big thing.

Ostentation, information, recreation

No matter the time or age, we live for

Entertainment
